Transcript

This is an educational audio preview. A currency pair contains two currencies. The first is the base currency, and the second is the quote currency. The displayed number expresses one unit of the first in units of the second. Reversing the order therefore changes the meaning of the quote. When opening a chart or article, check the full pair name, the data source, and the update time. The displayed price type can also differ between platforms. This explains notation; it offers no currency forecast or invitation to trade.
